McCoy Tyner - Infinity

A really good album from McCoy Tyner featuring Michael Brecker.
For jazz lovers, this is a must have. Really fun album, very uplifting, amazingly well done.
Enjoy!

I am feeling lazy, so here's the link to Infinity album details at allmusic.com

I’m hearing the last McCoy Tyner’s record, “Quartet”, with Joe Lovano (sax), Christian McBraide (bass) and Jeff “Tain” Watts (drums), recorded at California in 2006. The project is the same of this “Infinity”, with a quartet playing own McCoy Tyner’s compositions, but the result is very different and… worse. I think that because the Joe Lovano’s sax is good technically, but it’s boring, not creative. Michel Brecker, who play sax in “Infinity”, is better than Joe Lovano?! Well, with McCoy Tyner, yes.
